The Animal Pantry is in desperate need of wet & dry cat food!
Central Floridians face numerous challenges as a result of the economic recession: job lay-offs, home foreclosures and tightened budgets. While struggling to find food and shelter for themselves, some suddenly find themselves unable to care for their pets. Many have made the difficult decision to surrender or even abandon the family pet. Shelters and rescues are filled to capacity. The emotional stress on the pets and the owners that give them up adds to an already difficult situation.
The Animal Pantry, along with our community sponsors and volunteers, provides pet food, supplies and low cost services to pet owners so that they’ll be able to keep their pets without financial burden.
Animal Pantry of Central Florida (APCF) helps provide pet food assistance to the economically challenged, disabled and the elderly citizens of Central Florida.

After visiting a local pet rescue, 9-year-old Zach Wilson was shocked to see that so many great pets had been surrendered due to economic hardship. He told his mom, Erica, that he wanted to help feed the pets. With a lot of hard work and the generosity of the community, the Animal Pantry was founded.
