| A Brighter Day By Patricia J. Loche I almost lost my pet today- A kind sweet boy reached out my way! He asked for nothing but a smile- renewed my spirits for awhile! It's nice to know that kids still care... That there are good hearts everywhere! And, good deeds, like a growing vine... 'Cause other good deeds down the line! Since kind, sweet Zach helped me today... I've helped some others on my way! And...they may help some others, too... A brighter day, for me, and for you! Thank you Ms. Patti for your thoughtful poem. Shadow was the light of our life for over 12 years. He will be missed every day. He was getting old and in pain, but now he runs with friends who have gone on before. He is in no pain. The only pain that is left is that which is in my heart. I love you, Shadow. |
